The list spans trades, professions and services rather than clustering in one sector. ELECTRICIAN at eleven letters and JOURNALIST at ten are the longest and place only on the larger grids.
The J in JOURNALIST and the two Cs in ELECTRICIAN are the fastest entry points. NURSE and BAKER are short, common-lettered and best saved for last.

How to find words faster
- Find the longest jobs words first. ELECTRICIAN is the longest entry at 11 letters, and long words have far fewer possible placements than short ones. Clearing them early removes a disproportionate share of the grid.
