Signal Beat

Notes travel in from the right on three tracks. Hit A, S or D as each one reaches the line, or tap the track. Land twenty-four before six get past you.

How the rhythm minigame works

Three tracks stacked A, S, D from top to bottom. Notes appear at the right edge and travel left to a marker line near the left end of each track on a steady beat. Press the track's key as the note reaches the line and it counts as a hit; a press within a tight window of the line is a lock, a press slightly wide is close, and both count. A note that reaches the line and is not hit is a miss. So is a press on a track with no note near the line — spamming the keys is a miss, not a strategy.

You need twenty-four hits. Six misses ends the sequence. The score is accuracy: hits as a share of every note that reached the marker, so a clean clear scores near one hundred and a run that fails at six misses still gets credit for what it landed.

This is the 5.0 shipment breach rhythm hack as players describe it: three inputs, a marker, a steady pace that quickens slightly as the sequence goes on. It is a timing test more than a reflex one — the notes are visible for over a second before they arrive.

What counts as clean timing

Signal beat accuracy tiers
AccuracyStanding
96 – 100%Locked in
90 – 96%Clean
82 – 90%Solid
72 – 82%About average
60 – 72%Chasing the notes
Under 60%Pressing early

A cleared sequence with two misses is 92%. Most failed runs come from pressing early rather than late: the note looks close, the hand fires, and the press lands before the window opens and counts as empty.

How to land more notes

  • Press when the note reaches the line, not before. The window is centred on the marker. A press a fraction early counts as nothing and a note you then miss counts against you twice. Wait for the crossing.
  • Read two notes ahead. The notes are visible for more than a second. Know which track the next one is on before the current one lands, and your hand is already there.
  • Keep three fingers on three keys. A is the top track, S the middle, D the bottom — the keys sit in that order on the keyboard, so one finger each. Moving one finger between keys is where the late presses come from.
  • Do not press on an empty track. An empty press is a miss. If you are unsure whether a note is close enough, it is not.
  • Feel the beat. Notes arrive at a steady pace that tightens gently. Once you have the rhythm, timing off the beat is more reliable than timing off the eyes.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the NoPixel 5.0 shipment breach hack?

It is an independent recreation built from descriptions of the 5.0 rhythm minigame: three tracks, a marker, twenty-four hits before six misses. It is not connected to any server and is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or NoPixel.

What are the keys?

A for the top track, S for the middle, D for the bottom. On a touchscreen, tap the track itself. The key buttons at the left end of each track also work with a mouse.

How wide is the hit window?

About a tenth of a second either side of the marker counts as a lock, and a little wider still counts as close. Both are hits. Outside that, a press is empty and counts as a miss.

Why did pressing a key count as a miss?

Because no note was near the line on that track. Empty presses are penalised so that hammering all three keys does not work. Press when a note is crossing, and only then.

How is accuracy calculated?

Hits divided by every note that reached the marker plus any empty presses. A cleared run with two misses is 24 of 26, which is 92%. A run that fails at six misses still scores whatever it landed.
