How word searches work
Halloween vocabulary is consonant-heavy, which works in your favour. SKELETON, CAULDRON and PUMPKIN all carry hard consonant clusters that stand out sharply against random letters.
The K in PUMPKIN and SKELETON is the fastest way in, since K appears rarely in filler. CANDY and SHADOW are the hardest, being short and made almost entirely of common letters.

How to find words faster
- Find the longest halloween words first. SKELETON is the longest entry at 8 letters, and long words have far fewer possible placements than short ones. Clearing them early removes a disproportionate share of the grid.
- Target the uncommon letters in this list. The rare letters present here are K, V, W, Y. Each one appears only a handful of times in the random filler, so finding the letter usually hands you the word.
